John Pizzarelli and Nat “King” Cole: For Centennial Reasons

The Great American Songbook is a collection of songs written and interpreted by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and last but not least, Nat “King” Cole. Known as some of the greatest interpreters of the songbook, Nat’s trio was unique because of its lack of a drummer. His iconic guitar, bass, and piano configuration is mirrored on the latest project by one of the greatest modern interpreters of the songbook, John Pizzarelli.

This summer, join us as Pizzarelli gives a one-of-a-kind multimedia presentation on Nat “King” Cole and his impact on jazz and popular music. Tickets for that show are available here
