Jazz @ the Market offers 10 free outdoor afternoon performances, featuring local, regional and national jazz talent on the green at Solaris. The series is in its ninth year and is overwhelmingly appreciated by locals and visitors alike. So, come, shop, eat and stop by the Jazz Tent and listen to some great jazz this summer at the Vail Farmers' Market, from noon to 3:30 pm - it's lots of fun and the entertainment is free! Are Jazz @ Vail Square free concerts?
Yes. There is free seating in the Jazz Tent at Vail Square for the 9 Thursday night concerts. However, due to its popularity, this year you can purchase reserved, premium seats at the front of the tent for $20 each. Jazz at Vail Square concerts are on Thursdays in the heart of Lionshead Village from 6 - 8 p.m. from July 5th through August 26th.
Each Sunday, starting on June 24th, local jazz great, Tony Gulizia will be joined by a guest musician to perform at Kelly Liken. Kelly Liken will offer its Harvest Menu on Sunday nights. The Annual Labor Day Weekend Jazz Party is the culmination of the summer-long Vail Jazz Festival. The Labor Day Weekend Jazz Party features some of the world's greatest jazz musicians in an intimate performance setting, cabaret style, every Labor Day Weekend. We will continue the tradition of presenting an extraordinary lineup of great musicians - living legends and the young lions on the jazz scene today - in a unique format this is truly a "party". With over twenty-four hours of performances throughout the weekend (morning, noon and night), the audience and musicians are connected in a manner that consistently inspires great performances. Yes. The Labor Day Weekend Jazz Party offers 25 hours of live jazz performances over seven separate sessions. You can purchase a single session ticket or a Festival Patron Pass good for admission to all the sessions. Once again this year we will be offering youth tickets for the three afternoon performances. However the very best value is our Patron Pass, offering unlimited access to all performances. See Tickets for more information. Is the Labor Day Weekend pass transferable?
ABSOLUTELY! The weekend pass, called the 'Patron Pass', is transferable and you can share it with one or more friends. If you are a hardcore fan, buy the pass and enjoy all the music. You can still have your spouse/significant other/friends join you at selected sessions by buying individual session tickets. The Patron Pass offers exclusive invitation to a special dinner on Saturday night with the artists. What is the cost to attend the Labor Day Weekend Jazz Party?
Ticket prices are the same if purchased through the website, on the phone or at the box office. No flash photography is allowed in the concerts. Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes, but with limited seating for each performance, shows might sell out. The box office is open 1/2 hour before show time. You may purchase your tickets with cash, MC, VISA, or AMEX. Are there any special discounts available for transportation to Vail?
